Growing up in Connecticut, Dr. Walsh earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Connecticut in 2010, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He stayed in the Husky family for another 4 years, attending the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he received his D.M.D. in 2014. As a basketball fan, he was fortunate to witness a combined 6 NCAA National Titles between the women’s and men’s basketball teams during his time at UConn. Immediately after dental school, he completed an additional three years of specialty training in orthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. Even though he went to residency in New York City, Dr. Walsh is a passionate New England sports fan, especially the Patriots and Celtics.
Dr. Walsh is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists. He has extensive training in treating multi-disciplinary and surgical cases, and has a strong background in orthodontic treatment with clear aligners. He stays up to date with the latest orthodontic innovations and techniques by regularly attending seminars and courses. Dr. Walsh is passionate about creating healthy, beautiful smiles that last a lifetime. He always welcomes questions and takes the time to answer and discuss them thoroughly with each and every patient.
When he’s not straightening your smile, you can find Dr. Walsh spending time outdoors with his wife, Sarah, and his rescue dog, Stella. He also enjoys surfing, skiing, mountain biking, hiking and photography. Chances are, you can find Dr. Walsh jumping in the water (even in winter time!) to go surfing or taking photographs of the waves. Next time you stop by for an appointment, be sure to check out his photography around the office! Dr. Walsh can’t wait to meet you and provide the top-notch orthodontic care you need to achieve a strong, straight smile for life.

Dr. Walsh really listened to my concerns and put me at ease in discussing my potential treatment and answering my questions. Honestly it was the first time that I felt like a doctor took the time to really get to the bottom of everything that bothered me about my teeth (and beyond!). I can tell you that he earned my respect in making me feel part of my treatment outcome. His knowledge, compassion, and vision in helping me understand my treatment was fantastic.
Great office! My two children saw Dr. Walsh today and his demeanor and bedside manner were fantastic! Taking kids to the dentist is never easy but he was wonderful with them!
The service makes you feel warm and welcome! Dr. Walsh is awesome – always always always there to give you the answers you need! I don’t feel like a patient, I feel like family there!

It’s safe to say our team loves the animals that make us smile, day in and day out. That’s why we’re proud to support The New Hampshire Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, a local non-profit organization on a mission to save the lives of companion animals through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption. With every new patient that joins the practice, we donate back to the NH SPCA directly to help provide food, shelter, medical care, and other essential supplies to rescued animals seeking their forever home! Dr. Walsh and his wife rescued their dog, Stella, and want every pet on the Seacoast to find the safe, loving family they deserve. We hope each appointment makes you smile knowing that Great Bay Orthodontics truly cares about every four legged friend in our community!
